Just a quick note to point you towards reactionary old fool/national institution Patrick Moore embarassing himself when someone lets him out of late-night-TV-cupboard for five mintues:

I used to watch Doctor Who and Star Trek, but they went PC - making women commanders, that kind of thing. I stopped watching.

As opposed to the country, which has never been... oh, wait.

Patrick then went on to blame women for sinking the Titanic, stealing his socks and faking the moon landing before he was wheeled back to the planetarium.
